Life Insurance
Life insurance is that uncomfortable thing we all hate to talk or even think about. However, it is the next notch up on the financial planning ladder. Regardless of age, we all have some need for a form of life insurance, whether it is to cover unpaid student loans, protect your family from premature death, estate planning, or a multitude of many other reasons. All are bought for a love of the one that you leave behind. It is an incredibly selfless act. You the insured are buying something for which you will in no way participate.
There are two basic types of life insurance, term and permanent. As some advisors like to make this a very complicated presentation, it can be broken down into simplistic terms, with the two basic types of life insurance. Term, as the word suggests, is for a specific time for which coverage is in force. Permanent in its truest form is meant to last as long as you live. Depending on its design, it may or may not build cash value.
